USC Price School joins Public Affairs Diversity Alliance

The USC Price School of Public Policy has joined five other top public policy schools to launch the Public Affairs Diversity Alliance, a joint commitment to hire postdoctoral fellows from underrepresented groups and provide them the support and mentorship needed to successfully transition into faculty positions.

Serving as the regional director for the west and central United States for the United Kingdom’s Department for International Trade, Tim Crouch is responsible for promoting international trade and investment between the United Kingdom and the 31 states west of the Mississippi.

It’s a role that Crouch just began in July, and he credits his experience in the Executive Master of Leadership program at the USC Price School of Public Policy with getting him the position.

Passion, Power & Wisdom: Price's Geffner teaches 'leadership as improvisation’

What do actors and business leaders have in common? They both need to improvise, according to Carol J. Geffner, director of the Executive Master of Leadership (EML) program at the USC Price School of Public Policy.

To teach this essential skill, Geffner led a “Leadership as Improvisation” workshop at the 2018 USC Women’s Conference, which allowed participants to learn in an energized and engaged context.

USC Price Named #2 Best Graduate School in Public Affairs

U.S. News & World Report released their list of Best Graduate Schools in the Public Affairs discipline, and the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy ranked No. 2 out of 282 public affairs schools nationwide. Dean Jack H. Knott recently addressed the USC community at large and attributed the steady rise in rankings to faculty, students, and staff who are committed to fulfilling the USC Price mission.
